The Task Force Tips' Hurricane is a durable, industrial, high-capacity fixed monitor. The Hurricane has high flow and low friction loss characteristics. The red powder coat finish (inside and out), and stainless steel elevation drive make the Hurricane one appliance that can stand up to tough service environments. The Hurricane is capable of flowing 1250 gpm (4750 l/min) while maintaining a FULL 360° rotational ability. The lever-action rotational lock is activated in one motion, visually confirmed, and securely holds the Hurricane in position. A built-in automatic drain protects the monitor from freezing. The placement of grease zerks allows the Hurricane monitor to be quickly and easily serviced and lubricated, and a threaded port 0.25" NPT (6mm) is provided for a pressure gauge. The Hurricane is made from hard anodized ANSI A356-T6 aluminum. The Hurricane industrial monitor comes with our exclusive 5-year warranty.

PRODUCT SERIES OVERVIEW
•   TFT Hurricane Manual Monitor offers efficient flow performance up to 1250gpm, provides full 360 degree rotational movement, and is available with 3” or 4” ANSI 150 flanges, 3” NPT thread, or with extended flange inlets to eliminate rotational clearance issues. All models are FM approved, are standard with corrosion resistant powder coating and come with your choice of hand wheel and tiller bar operational controls.
•   TFT Hurricane Remote Control Monitors are designed for operational pressures up to 200psi, provide up to 450 degrees of rotational travel, and have an elevation range of 90 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below. All Hurricane RC monitors come standard with TFT’s rugged electronics design which eliminates corrosion issues caused by water migration to electronic circuitry, have been awarded CE approval, and are easily controlled by panel mounted, tethered, or radio frequency operational controls.
•   TFT Hurricane ATEX certified RC Monitors are designed for 12/24volt operations and are tested and approved for use in Classified Hazardous Locations as defined by European Directive 94/9/EC often referred to as the ATEX directive. This directive also indicates that the monitor and nozzles are suitable for Zone 2, Category 3 environments, use position encoding and current limiting for drive train protection, and have an IP65 rating for all electrical components.
