LOW-LEVEL STRAINER 5.0"FEMALE

Part No:A03HNT

 Details
LOW-LEVEL STRAINER 5.0" WITHOUT JET SIPHON
High volume low-level strainer is made of hard anodized and powder-coated aluminum. Clog-resistant stainless steel filter has over twice as much flow area as a 6" hose. This keeps friction loss down to 0.5 psi (1" Hg) at 1500 gpm and reduces the potential for air vortexes to form as water sinks towards the 2.5" minimum usable depth. Oversized sealed ball pivot allows 45° range of hose angle without constricting the flow path. Optional Jet Siphon with 1.5" female hose thread substantially increases suction lift capability. Jet Siphon substantially increases suction lift capability and is also useful for tank shuttle, pump priming and dewatering with no need for a trash pump. Jet Siphon has 1.5" female hose threaded coupling that pivots freely in any direction to avoid hose kinks.

•   TFT’s Jumbo Barrel Strainers are produced from lightweight nylon, incorporate a unique coupling attachment system, and are designed for high volume water flow operations. Available in black or high visibility yellow, these strainers are easily stored in compartments or pre-connected to hose lines, and are designed for 2 ½”, 4”, 5”, or 6” lightweight hard suction lines.

•   The Low Level / High Volume Strainer provides flow performance up to 1500gpm will minimal loss and incorporates a unique swiveling design that holds the strainer flat on the bottom of the tank maximizing available water flow. The low level design prevents unwanted whirlpools which can cause a loss of prime, as well as allowing water to be drafted to within only a few inches of depth utilizing all available water.
