Doug, a quarter century TFT sales veteran, credits his 40 plus years as a volunteer firefighter & officer for his hands-on knowledge of TFT products (as well as his sense of humor). As OEM Account Manager, this Midwestern native guides fire-apparatus manufacturers in Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and New York through demonstrations, purchases, installations, maintenance and care of TFT products.
Right after high school, Doug joined Center Township Fire Rescue (following in his father’s footsteps), and still serves as Secretary, board member, and training officer. His certification as NFPA Instructor II/ III, Fire Officer I/II, National Foam Factory Instructor, and stints as chairperson and instructor for the Duneland School of Emergency Response (a large regional training program) have made him the go-to guy for firefighters and TFT customers alike. In addition, Doug serves as the chairman of the FAMA Technical Pump and Plumbing subcommittee.
Doug also serves as the Deicing Products Manager, serving the aircraft deicing and anti-icing equipment manufacturers, dealers and airline customers.
